This is a graphite on Bond Paper I made a couple of years ago. I'm just learning how to use Photoshop so I experimented a bit, turning into Grayscale and then using the Paint Daubs filter.
The scene: The battle of the Pelennor Fields. Théoden is successfully leading his men until the Witch King appears and Snowmane, Theoden's horse, hurt by a poisonous dart, rears in panic, just before falling on its side, causing its Master's death.
I did the King's armour and sword using "movie Theoden's" as a model. It's not exactly the same, but similar.

By graphite you mean... pencil... and what is bond paper? I like the pose and the texture (though unsure if its intentional)

Yep, I meant pencil. Bond paper is the typical standard draft paper, I guess? I'm not sure of the English expression, though...we call those draft books "croqueras" :blushes:
The texture was obtained through a photoshop filter :)
