I recently bought a bunch of colourful stones (they told me they were agate, but I strongly doubt it, they just look like nice, polished river stones to me). I was thinking of attempting a wire wrap using alpaca but then I thought, why not to continue with some crocheted necklaces, like this one. I don't think I have the patience to wrap the stones with wire, but with the cotton thread could be much easier, and it was.
It's coated cotton thread and...some mysterious, fuchsia stone :D
26.5" long. Base metal endings and clasp.

This necklace takes about an hour, maybe bit less. It all depends on how hard is to trap the stones so they don't fall easily :)
